Analytics that work for you.
Here's how we're using it to give you super powers.
Your interview is broken down into submitted answers. These answers are reviewed by many different reviewers. Having many different reviewers helps to reduce bias and error.
Each interview reviewer gives a score out of 5 or 10. At videoath we use a 10 point scale. Reviewers will choose what score they think is a "pass" or "average" - this can be 7/10 or 5/10.
For every answer, all applicants will receive scores from many reviewers. All the reviewer scores are aggregated to form a bell-shaped curve (standard distribution). These scores have a mean score and standard deviation. Your score relative to this mean score is your percentile which helps medical schools to rank your interview to other applicants.
Using a simple 10 point scale, we allow for objectifying an otherwise subjective process of scoring applicants. How well you do is relative to the interview cohort. Whatever your goal score is for your upcoming interviews, we all have room to improve for our patients. At videoath, we prepare you to speak like a doctor - with professional and empathic communication.
