[Transcribed] Hi for the question of positions unionizing.
I have a personal issue. I should I should preface my bias off the stairs.
I don't like my union. I am part of a paramedic Union on Prince Edward Island and I feel that they have sold out our casuals to try and keep our full-timers happy and as such have undermined paramedicine in Prince Edward Island, it is hard to get new paramedics here partially because our casuals don't get over time our casual get our caps are casuals.
of no healthcare I could just there's a bevy of reasons to not be a casual on Pei when you can choose from some other provinces if you have that Mobility Physicians forming a union
I don't see it ever happening to be honest.
I feel that there is.
varieties of physician
it's easy enough to say, you know, okay. Well will do.
Union for all Physicians and like okay, but the surgeons and the GPS and you know, the dermatologist they don't all want the same things. These are all very varied professions. Although they fall into the realm of medicine. So I okay. So do we break them up into categories then maybe Family Medicine within a province could form one to have better bargaining against the province itself, but then
If you have on Pei, we have salaried Physicians who work more for the province, but then we have fee-for-service Physicians who work outside of that system. So is it just a set? There's and then the Third on their own dude like
We like to view Physicians and people with medical doctorates as as a singular group, but it is such a diverse group of people of professions of interests, and I don't see a way that a singular organization could come together to try to adequately represent all of those diverse groups.
Thank you very much.
